Alright all. Very new noise. It’s cold outside in northern Michigan. Just drove a buddy to the airport on the way there and way back I noticed something new.

A low rumble noise only when removing foot off the gas pedal. Slight acceleration and no noise and immediately when release(not braking) hear it.

Any guidance is appreciated.

07 Yukon 180k miles. Replaced all fluids 6k miles ago. Oil changed 800 miles ago.

New rotors and pads last year.

Have not started inspecting yet as it’s negative degrees outside and 5am.

Thanks all.

Noise goes away when applying heavy brakes. Doesn’t happen at slow to low speeds. Under 25mph. Turning doesn’t change or increase the issue.

My 1st thought would be check/replace U joints. Do you feel in in the wheel or seat?

I do not feel it in the wheel or seat. Just on the floor board with my left foot. Thanks for the help and suggestion. All my research says it might be the u joint but can’t get outside yet to work on it.

Sounds like a Ujoint or Hub going bye bye. Quick and dirty check for the hubs is jack front wheels off ground just to where they arent touching and grab tire at 12 and 6 oclock and rock tire inward and outward from both points. If the hub is bad you will feel the play. At 9 and 3 oclock you might get a false indication if there is enough play in your tie rods and ball joints. Lets hope its not the rearend but it very well could be.
