2022 Yukon XL - 4WD - 3.0 - 96K miles
I am looking for some insight on this. I have intermittently noticed a "groaning" type noise, but only in very specific instances. The sound is similar to a tire rub on a fender liner, but that is not the issue here. IT only happens when the ambient temperature is low - i.e. less than 50F. The noise is made when I turn sharply at low speed - i.e. pulling into a parking space, navigating a parking lot, pulling away from a stop sign when turning... After driving a while, I can't duplicate it. This is likely due to all components and / or fluids being up to temperature.
Any thoughts on what this might be? I haven't tried to duplicate this in 4 WD, as I don't want to do sharp turns on pavement and don't have easy access to an alternative.
