Roof Rack Recommendations?

I'm looking for a cargo roof rack for our '17 Tahoe. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not looking for anything outrageous. Just something I can put some luggage/bags/beach junk into to free-up some space inside the truck.

Suggestions for me?

Yakima and Thule baskets are made nicely Walmart has one in the store you can get also I believe or they did to mine anyways

It looks like it doesn't need or utilize the crossbars? Am I seeing that right?

If you are looking for something to haul what you stated it go with something similar to above. They utilize the mounting points of your factory one I believe. The crossbars for the standard rails are cheap - basically good for the Yakima type stuff without much room for varied sizes, shapes etc. And limited tie down points.

I put a 2005 Z-71 rack on my 2008 and it is sweet. Unfortunately it won't fit on my 2017 tho, which is a bummer. The newer models have a wider roof

If you look at the pics for the 07-14 rack it does have multiple crossbars.

I plan to get one for my K2 when my Christmas bonus hits.

There are adjustable t-slot extruded aluminum cross bars.
