The member name is GM Customer Service. Not sure how to search for a member by name.
Much appreciated, I was able to sent a PM by using the member name... Hopefully I will get one. Thanks! Ride is looking awesome.

Awesome! Good Luck, I sure hope the weather holds up long enough for you to get it installed... I called on a whipple today and they said 8 weeks +, your one lucky man. I will have to settle for a Magnuson or an LSA as I don't think I will be happy with a VVT cam upgrade alone. I can't wait till you get yours on and we get to see video!

I've been trying to get rid of a front end shimmy that starts around 75 mph. I thought it was wheels out of balance. I have recently reinstalled my 26's after winter. But today the tire shop balanced them and said my ball joints are starting to have some movement and my right front wheel bearing is a tiny bit loose. Damn Moog ball joints were replaced about a year ago. I've been noticing a slight vibration that I can feel in the floorboard lately and I think it might be the front bearings so today I ordered new Timkens and Dorman dust shields while I'm at it. At 150k I figure it's time for new hubs anyway. I'll hold off on ball joints until I do the hubs.

Would be surprised to learn that Moog ball joints had failed in short order, so thinking it's the bearings. Makes sense that you'd need new bearings by 150k.
Let us know after you install them.

Yeah those were my thoughts exactly. I just checked and the ball joints were replaced 10k miles ago so I highly doubt they're bad even with the torture my 26's exact on them, and there's probably some play in the bearings that was making them think ball joints.

The Whipple arrived today and it's a lot of parts. More than I thought it would be, including things like a new water pump that I didn't realize would be needed. This might take longer than I thought to install especially considering the other maintenance parts I'm replacing at the same time. Should be fun though.

Holy hell is that thing beautiful!!! I am SO jealous even though I have an LSA coming any day now lol. Mine isn't all blacked out like yours, only my ZL1 top lol. Hey man, don't forget to remove the sticker on the intake/throttle body opening that says "REMOVE" "REMOVE" or you might fall short of your HP goals lol... I wonder if someone has actually left that on lmao. So happy for you man. Good luck on the install!

I plan on doing it myself, it's all bolt-on stuff. The install manual is pretty big lol.
I like that attitude lol... At least yours comes with a manual :) My LSA install unfortunately doesn't really come with one.

*Edit: I don't get stickers either, those are extra for sure :-(

I know, I looked long and hard at doing an LSA and figured it was too much of an unknown for me. There's a lot to installing a blower and even though there's plenty of people out there doing an LSA conversion, I decided that I couldn't have my DD torn down and find out there's something else I need to order off E-Bay or somewhere else. It would be fine maybe if I had unlimited time to get it back together but I need my truck up and running in a few days. I do have a few Harley's that I can use to get around or back and forth to the auto parts store but they won't haul my tools for work. And the stickers will just be added to my collection, I don't feel the need to advertise. I figure the sound of the Whipple will be a dead giveaway.:head3:

True story here folks... I guarantee I will be missing something and my ride will be down for a few days or more than planned. Not to mention it will be a little harder to tune than a slap on kit like this. I'm hoping I have my crap together but there is definitely something to be said about having a compete package ready to go and install... They know what they are doing and obviously it works great and looks damn good doing it. Lucky for me I have an old 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport that I can use for a few days while I wrench on mine.

Again, good luck on the install and keep us posted... ******** that blower is sexy. I get my ZL1 lid on Friday. Are you married? What did you have to give up to get the supercharger? My wife wants a damn cat lol. Now I gotta find one my pit mix wont eat hehe.
