Replacing hard lines

Hi, As title states i am in the process of replacing the rear hard lines in my 03 yd. I have the flare nuts disconnected at the abs module and the rear mount. My questions how are you all getting the lines out without damaging them even more. I am replacing them with 3 1/6 copper brake line so i have to bend it myself.
