It started out with a stuck Right rear caliper and while bleeding that, the line from the MC to ABS blew.
Got the Stainless steel lines and installed the MC to abs block today as those were the ones to blow out. ( I know i need to do them all, but I am actually gimped right now). I took today off to do the lines and woke up with a swollen left hand that I couldn't close. Went to the doc and he said soft tissue and tendon swelling from over straining it. So I had to do most of the work one handed. A 2 hour job took me 5. And I hate the active brake BS on this thing. The pedal has never felt right to me, ever. Soft and sinks too low. But stab the sucker and it will skreeee and cycle the ABS on dry pavement. But slow speed it just feels like stepping in a bowl of melted pistachio ice cream.
I vacuum bled it. Then regular bled it. And finally went out and gravel road lock up ABS cycle bled. And it still feels like goop. My 06 Silverado has a rock hard pedal but has the vacuum booster. The Tahoe is hydraboost. Even my 95 f150 has a pedal that barely drops before applying. The Tahoe is just blah soccer mom soft.
Anyone know if there is a better way without the techII to get a better pedal?
