Maybe so. But now I gotta figure out how to add cushioning material underneath the leather...and I have no clue.
Lol
Super easy. Just take your time, there's no rush. You guys are gonna give me anxiety about this project.

No. I bought the truck like that about a year ago. I've never cleaned the seats. They don't feel greasy either. Someone else said they looked dirty also. Now you guys have me thinking about actually doing a deep detail!Looks great! Do you use armor all on your seats or something? They look greasy
That is a "real leather" one too as opposed to synthetic. That's definitely worth an extra ~~$20 in my book.
Don't guys on here use Scrubbing Bubbles for leather?
10:1 apc works for me, all purpose cleaner that is. I use zep 505 cu its cheap and easy to find at home depot.Don't guys on here use Scrubbing Bubbles for leather?
I had a local upholstery shop reskin mine and i looks brand new. They had the factory pleather in stock with the exact color. Done in a couple hours for $160.
No, it's not just you! After researching this quite a bit, it seems my options are:
A. Do nothing: free, but looks crap even though I'm the only one who sees or notices.
B. Re-skin with pleather: as little as $25 or so.
C. Re-skin with leather: could be around $85.
D. Replace the entire lid assembly with a pre-owned unit: $150.
I'll have to decide if the genuine leather is worth 3+ times the cost of factory-like pleather.
By the way, is it just me, or are most of the listings on Ebay NEW items rather than used?
No, it's not just you!
