The Arnott passive shock replacement for the autoride shock. Oem and Monroe alternatives were just too pricey.Which shocks did you get?

Expensive?
Damn! I'm actually thinking about putting my stock rear Arnotts back in.They are a tad pricey Monroe is $260 each and AC Delco is $274 each, many places sell them for $20-30 more than that

Yeah thats right around the what I was finding for those. I found the Arnott pair for right about $200 I think and grabbed them. But I verified that they were the exact part number I needed and that would have all the correct mounting hardware. They are a tad pricey Monroe is $260 each and AC Delco is $274 each, many places sell them for $20-30 more than that

What are you painting?
Gonna start small. First thing to paint will be the little hinged cover over my spare tire lock. Mines plastic and I hate it lol. Then if that comes out looking good I'm gonna try color matching my front gmc emblem. If those go well at try doing something a little bigger. What are you painting?

Good luck. Maybe use a little of that fill in primer, or even adhesion promoter.Gonna start small. First thing to paint will be the little hinged cover over my spare tire lock. That's why I ordered both adhesion promoter and primer.Color matching. Yes!! Use both like Tony mentioned above. That fill in primer should be nice to help it get smooth. Look forward to results.
