I just ordered R1 premium slotted rotors. What would be the best pads for these? I've been looking at hawk pads, but heard cold braking isn't so great with them.

Thanks

Don't buy hawk, I had them on my Denali and had to throw them away after two months cause they were squeaking something awful. And yes they 'broken in' properly.

I honestly don't know, but I have read very good reviews from members here using R1 stuff. The only aftermarket pads I've used were the Hawk ones and after my experience I've been using OE pads ever since. But there are many folks here who will be able to give you good advice.

Hit up CLKELLEY. He sells R1 Rotors and will have the best pads to go with those rotors :waytogo:

PosiQuiet Pads from R1Concepts. Their rotors the Posi Quiet pads are the only brakes I run or recommend.

Agree. All Ceramic is the way to go. In the long run though I believe it will be harder on the rotors...just depends on what type of performance that you are looking for.
