Recommendations for a good power steering pump

Hello everyone, I replaced my power steering pump with a Cardone unit from RockAuto, which was loud out of the box. Returning that, but I need to know what’s a good brand of power steering pump for these trucks. I don’t want to have to do this job a third time. I have an 05 Tahoe 4.8 4x4, with hydroboost. Any help is appreciated.

Is Cardone the OEM brand? If not do that.

Your RPO code for Hydroboost is JH2. GMPartsGiant show the part numbers in the graphic, but I don't see them as available anywhere. Your search might have better results.

The silverado 1500hd trucks with the 6.0 have a better pump since they came with 20s from the factory. I got me that new ACD unit on my 05 Tahoe.

The suspension code is B4V option package. They came with bigger wheels and a better pump.

Hello friends,

I am from the Czech Republic and I probably have a problem with the steering pump. When the car is stationary, everything is solid and rigid. But when driving (the higher the speed and rpm), the steering is very sloppy and loose. I have already replaced everything except the pump. Given my place of residence and the vehicle's make, I have a problem determining the correct pump. Can someone please help me if I send them my VIN? Thank you very much
