1. I have been experiencing a leak in the headliner just inside the rear tailgate. I have been trying to find source with no luck. Have removed and re sealed roof rack mounts to start. Has anyone had a leak this area and what was the cause? starting to stain headliner. Any other places to look would be appreciated.
2. Strut Question: I have over 265,000 miles on my 2009 tahoe and never replaced the front struts. I replaced the rear shocks and air system at around 220,000 as it was shot and causing handling issues on the highway. As far as struts however I do not notice any indication of bad performance, no bad tire wear or other signs of age. I see in forums that these should be replaced every 100,000 miles or so. Should I replace or just keep on trucking?

1. Check the wire boot in the jamb above the liftgate. The plastic end can easily pop loose.
2. Depends how picky or bored you are..

#2; Check the front struts to see if there is any sign of leakage. They 'should' be worn out with that mileage, but if there is no leakage, and you feel comfortable with the way that the truck is currently handling, then just keep driving the way that they are.
