Finally got a chance to tear into the rear on this Hoe, its a shatty job I tell ya.

Who knows. Ive owned it a month. Still going through everything. The trans fluid looks like strayberry milk.

Went on and replaced the hub and upper BJ. Going to replace the inner tierod end as well.

Now looking for a Detroit locker and hardened axles for the truck. Welding the tubes to the center housing and building tube braces while Im waiting

i thought mine was bad but looks like someone mixed a laxative in with your dif fluid

While I was in the front I found the center link loose at both tie rods, and the lift kit was loose at ALL mounting points.... :Plugged:

i complain of 11 that rear end needs alot of TLC , y did u break into it? im guessing with it looking like that it was a bit noisy

lol

I got this truck off a ranch, the inside was as bad as the rear. I tore it open because of all the other work I needed to do around it, as well as to change the gears. As for noise.....I cant hear crap over those tires.

Based on how nasty your rear diff looks I would change the fluids in the front diff, tranny and xfer case as well and double check all the ujoints. That rig has seen some serious water at some point.

All fluids changed, ujoints changed, front diff being removed completly for future SAS. New LS7 being built for boost to go in next summer as well.

This truck was sitting in water for the rear to look like that.
