well... i put the neighborhood on notice

fire this ****** up about an hour ago

nothing but forward facing headers, no water, open throttle body, no o2s.

i doubt it turned over 5 times before it fired right up, watch the oil pressure come up and then remembered there was no tranny fluid in it and shut it off lol

mostly just wanted to check for leaks (oil/gas), check i made up the coils right - cause swapped some of the "input" side of the coil plugs cause the plug wires i had around barely worked and didnt feel like making up new ones....and then doubted myself on which way they went. and to see how the valve lash went, ie: if the pushrods were too short/long. couldnt really hear over the open headers but it ran smooth considering the circumstances

Little bit of overreaction on the trans...was pretty clean lol
The small bits that came out were like pinky nail sized if that makes sense. I assumed there were larger peices that couldn't make it out the drain hole. even the magnet isnt as bad as i thought, those little black crusties are about the extent of it...all i did was let the fluid drain before those pics. cleaned it all up, new filter, verified the dip stick full mark was at the pan rail and put 12 qts back in it

Swapped fitting into the 40k...they've always weeped a little, apparently the fittings I had bottom out before the flare engages tight enough. The flare should engage on these fittings but I put some thread sealer on it anyway

And the other drier/accumulator came

After starting it up, it's incredibly loud, I threw on the one wastegate I had, the pre o2 sensors and the post wideband...still loud af. So I ordered the other wastegate, couldn't find local but Amazon 1 day shipping gonna have to do
