Guys,

I know I've been hiring it heavy lately but I want to have no surprises after I drop 500 bucks on this 3.5 RC lift. I have a ranch hand on the front of my Tahoe and don't want to lift it and have it still sag. Will this be an issue or can I go with a smaller spacer for the rear?

Any input is greatly appreciated

Well, the measurement from the ground to the top of the wheel well are coming in at 38" & 35". So even if I put the 3.5 in the front, I'd be half an inch higher in the front than the rear without putting the rear lift on

How much do you weigh? The RH brush guard isn't as heavy as the full bumper. Take a measurement, pop the hood, and sit on the core support. If you weigh 170+ and it doesn't drop, you're good. That guard isn't going to weigh that much.

This one, according to ranch hands website, weighs 99lbs. I may just need new shocks. I'm at 91k miles

Hopefully so. I'm not going to be too happy with the nose dive. Don't know why chevy does that to a 4wd

If you're that worried about it, look into springs on a 1500 truck that come with a snow plow prep package. I believe they're stiffer. It's only 100 pounds. That's not much

Any recommended aftermarket springs? I'm sure the Z71's had a different setup than my LT. So something aftermarket that is similar to that

I really believe you're thinking too far into the sag. Do you have a set of weights? Seriously, pop the hood and place something around 100 pounds on the front end and see if it drops. I highly doubt it will make any difference.

Really? That's like putting a kid on your bumper. Won't do a thing....

I've already got the ranch hand on. It dropped it a full inch. I hate a nose diving 4x4. Just my preference. I already know it sags the front end I'm just curious if the 3.5" lift will be too much in the back

A full inch for 100 pounds seems a bit excessive. Sounds to me (my opinion from your posts) that you wont be happy unless its EXACTLY the same front and back, right? When you're going down the road, its probably going to be nose high, ass low by an inch or more, then you'll look like all the SuperDuty's out there. I think youre being too critical over an inch, or less.

It must be worn out struts or something going on there, 100lbs should not sag your front 1"
The frontier guard (basically the same in size and weight) I have dropped the front measurement 1/16", maybe 1/8" at the absolute max

Could be worn out. I'm going to put the 3.5" on the front and check it out. May just leave the rear stock. I don't mind it "bulldogged" or "squattin".. I appreciate the help fellas!
