I'm ordering my HID kit from ddm and was wondering what options I need to get. I want the 9006 bulb right? Do I need to get the dual in, dual out hid harness?? And do I need the error eliminator or adaptor cables? Thank you!

Thank you so much! Is there any reason that ddm is only $40 and hid guy is $100 for the same kit?

DDM offers top of the line products at prices that are reasonable. They also have a lifetime warranty on their kits, even though they never stop working. IMO they're the best dealer of HID bulbs around. Nothing beats em' bro.

Yea those look damn good! I ALMOST bought mine from hid guy but I noticed that a lot of you had ddm so I took a quick look and it seemed much more reasonable :) I ordered 35w 8000ks for low beams so they should be here soon :D

I like those HIDs on your rig man! I like the blue HIDs which is why I did the 8k so I cant wait to put them on! I also ordered up some interior LEDs so those go in at the same time :)

+1 on the light output issue.

I had 8000k on the front, and I thought that I loved them.

Then I put 5000k in the reverse bulbs. I noticed the difference right away and first I didn't like the creamyness of the 5000k's. But then over a few months time, I noticed that when backing up, I could see more on the ground than I could going forward.

So I ordered up 5000k's for the front.
Night and day difference in light output.
The 8000k's don't bath anything in light, but anything that is reflective show up.

The 5000k's bath everything in a white light, much easier to see things, then relying on a reflection of the 8000k's. Does that make sence?

If you do any kind of extended night driving, then I would suggest 5000k's.

BTW, kudos for even doing the mod!

So reading all these posts on the DDM HID's, I am curious to see what type of headlight housing y'all are using. I guess the TYC Elegantes are the best, but anything else out there that is similar? The HID kit isn't the expensive part, its the headlight housing that is holding me back from doing this mod. I don't think it'll be a good idea to do HID's in my crappy old stock headlight housings.

Thanks!
