quick brake question

my brakes are squeeky so i bought some pads and went to change them this weekend. once i got the tires off i inspected them and the pads are still really good maybe a little less than a 1/2 inch of pad left...what would make them squeek...bad pads? ...also rotors look smooth and normal...hmmm??

The squeak is caused by vibration. Try "disc brake quiet" on the back of the pads or shims.

yep, or dirty pads, etc..

use some cleaner and spray the crap out of everything to get thedirt off. dont use a blow gun please haha
