Has anyone installed a Setina or other big name push bumper on a 2021 Tahoe? Did you need to do any cutting or make modifications? I remember my grandmother sitting in the front passenger seat telling my Dad "Just give him a little push, dear."

Is the aluminum better than steel for weight savings? How is durability? Which brand?

Aluminum doesn’t rust. I had a half version installed on a suburban. If they made that, I’d get one in a heartbeat

I started this thread about eight months ago and wonder if anyone with a '21+ diesel Tahoe/Suburban has installed a push bumper. I'd really like one on mine. I contacted Setina and they could not give me any information about installing one of their bumpers on my '21 ?Tahoe LM2.

Being that the PPV/SSV Tahoe's are based on the Z71, they probably focused their R&D on that and using the recovery hook points for push bar attachment.

The non-Z71 models have a different bumper, making it bit more challenging for install.

Likely so for the mounting points. The K2 and gmt900 platforms did exactly that.

I added recovery hooks and a GoRhino pushbar to thethirdtwin. I know I could have changed the fascia, but it was a simple matter to open it up to install both.

Finally got my Truck Defender aluminum bumper installed last week. Trimmed the bottom of the bumper off and bolted to frame.
