I got some pics of the starting point of my resurrection of my 95 yuk i purchased for 1k. she needs a lot of work to bring her back to life. new engine windshield rear doors mirrors door handles. pretty much lots of tlc and time.. also i will be lifting the body back up and replacing the body mount bolts with grade 8 bolts for my own peace of mind as it has a 3 inch body lift already and i don't trust other peoples work. what do you guys think.

That does sound like a lot of work, I'm sure you will get that baby back on the road. Good luck in the journey and keep us updated!

I don't have a trailer either. One thing we did a few times when needing to trailer my 77 around when it wasn't running right was rent a trailer from u-haul. At the time my dad had a big truck that was capable of pulling it. I'm not sure if my burb is equipped for that large of a task or not  stock powertrain and suspension....

:hmm: I'm wondering if a tow dolly will work either if it's too wide for a trailer. I'll have to do some thinking on this for you. There's got to be a way to get it where you need it.

Do you happen to have AAA? They'll tow for free up to 100 miles.

Not sure about weight....maybe 4500? might be able to google it...
