So I had some HID's installed (with no relay kit...i know know). The driver's side bulb goes out so I replaced it with a good HID bulb, still not working. I figure it's the ballast but then I try to install two different stock bulbs and it still doesn't work.

Both high beams work fine, any idea what the problem may be? Could the HID's broke something somehow?

I figured it out...it was the fuse for that headlight. I forgot about those things...

You may try a slightly larger fuse. The HIDs take a lot more current to start up, way less after lit.

Not a good idea to increase fuse size without confirming load and corresponding wire size.
