Hi everyone.

Just bought an 07 Yucon Denali yesterday, and I just joined the forum today. I am looking forward to having this Yucon. We have been a car only family for a while, and were tired of it.

The only issue I have is with the power running boards. I have had an issue with them not working on two occasions, but they have worked perfectly every other time.

Both times that I had trouble were after using the remote start ( just playing with it to see how everything works). Both times I had trouble getting it to start with the remote. Not sure if the battery on the keychain is dying or if I am doing something wrong with that.

Anyway, it seems that it has something to do with the running boards not working. It is happening on both sides, and both sides work well every other time. When they don't work, the motors run and the boards try to move, but it acts like something is holding them back. Almost like they are locked. They start working again after it sits for a while. We haven't used the remote start all day today, and they have worked fine all day.
