I have an 01 denali and i was replacing the bulbs in my power mirror switch with reg bulbs not LEDS and got them in and plugged it in and 10 sec later the dash lights just went out....(the power switch works fine and lights up) checked fuses and they all seem good

Now...The auto on the headlight switch dont work, the only time the dash lights work is when the dimmer is all the way up so the dome light comes on... Ill have to turn the lights on manually to get lights to work too

the information center lights goes out when i turn the lights on but then it works when the dimmer is all the way up

I am freaking out thinking that i might of done something REALLY wrong!!

This happened to me a while back its the actual switch that went out for me. The switch to turn the lights on and off is no good and can be found on eBay or rock auto I think. It's about $30. I went to my local stereo guy that does my work and checked the switch and said that it was no good.

I got the passenger side on and working. Switch works great. Had to stop to drop her. Been busy after that. Now running around looking at banks that have the best rates for mortgages. After 3 potential houses that had something wrong finally found a great one. Hopefully I get this one. Maybe next week I'll try and finish up drivers side install.
