powdercoat chrome

I was wondering how much it would cost and if you even could poowdercoat chrome?
I found some rims that I like, but would like them better black on my black z71.
What do you guys think?

yes it can be done, they have to sandblast it down to bare metal and then spray the powder and bake on the color you would like. The prices around here go from about 100-175 per wheel.

so prolly just cheaper to buy the black ones instead of these...
