Currently on the truck 20 inch rims... truck is in the shop so I can't give you the exact.. But mostly highway driving but I do drive around the city from time to time.

Both my trucks have 4.56 and a trutrac. The tahoe feels good but I wish the suburban had 4.88 because of the weight.

What kind of fuel mileage you getting from both? I'm doing an axle swap to one tons with 4.56 gears and 34" tires and would like to get a ballpark on numbers. Thanks.

The suburban is like 13 city or highway. Tahoe is 10-12.

I added 4.56 with tuetrac. But Idk if I'd quite recommend 4.56 for commuting on the highway and stuff. My hoe now runs 700rpms higher at 70mph than it did with the 3.73. Maybe go midway with 4.11. Just my thought. But I do love the 4.56 for driving around town or driving up into the mountains. Lots of torque. Especially when rolling around in 2nd gear.

But my mileage is running around 10-11mpg Really no matter how I drive it. But definitely don't leave the 3.73 in there if bigger tires and lift are put on.

If you have 3.73 now with a stockish tire and then run 35s, the 4.56 gears should get you back around the stock feel.

Hey y'all, it's the new guy. 98 Tahoe, don't remember height measurements, but it's about 9". (Comparison from a stock one in a used lot.) Solid axle swap with 35-12.5/18.

Nice ride, though I am a bit partial to axle swapped Tahoes/Yukons.

ORD axle swap with 2" tuff country ezrides, Dana 60, ORD crossover steering, rear shackle flip from ORD, stock springs, GM corporate 14 bolt with factory discs and gov-lock, transfer case swap and 295/70-17 tires.
