OMG they did that....the tech that did that needs to have his ass beat. He must of thought it was his own personal ride.

Very sharp ride.
Those moldings look to be in a spot where they will do little good. They definitely do not look stock. I would have them re-mount a new set in the proper spot, and ask them for a tech that has a clue..
JMHO.

This. They look goofy

well I questioned them when I picked it up! I said, I assumed that they would be going in the middle of the door, where the crease is and he told me he put them where the door sticks out the most and that if he put them on the crease, he would have to move the Tahoe emblem, but I think he could still put them below the emblem in the crease.

Well, there is that Google thing; but, you can go to the Chevy site, select SUVS, Tahoe, and Photo Gallery and, wow, a whole bunch of pictures of factory installed originals. Imagine that. Take it back to the dealer, show him his OWN Tahoe brochure and then tell 'em to take 'em off, install them in the correct location and if he damages the paint, give you a new Tahoe.

That work for you?

That works for me, except I didnt buy the Tahoe at this dealer, I just ordered the accessories here, including the chrome wheels that I returned and made them get me a new set because the chrome didnt look just right...I am going to talk to them and ask them to install a new set, just trying to not be too much of a pain to them, since I didnt get the Tahoe through them..

No, that needs to be fixed. We would catch some serious shit if we even gave that explanation, and new moldings - not re-taped ones would be coming out of our hours. It needs to be corrected, regardless if you're buying accessories there and possibly getting a good deal. Thats no excuse for shotty work.

I agree with Fiat... any GM dealer should honor any GM vehicle. Whether you bought it there or not they shouldn't want that driving around.

Ok, I went back to the dealer and they said they would reinstall for me...Does anyone have any nice, clear pics of your rig with the chrome side molding installed properly? The accessory book doesnt show a clear picture and the ones I found on line arent that great either...if someone had one I could use that would be great!

I love it! I have always loved those wheels, if they came in chrome and I saw them before I got my new set I would have had them, thinking of saving some up for the future to get for my winter rims...I put studded tires on this winter, this thing is a tank now!

Sorry this was supposed to go to Hosseface's post, love the 22s!

Sorry, I have to try this upload again.
Both sets look great. I'm not sure which I like better..

I absolutely love the 22s! I wanted those in chrome for my summer set but I ended up getting CK157 which I love also...Maybe someday I will save up some money to get those 22s for my winter set. I use my stock 18s with studs
