I painted mine too but I used duplicolor paint. I'll try and post pics later. I still. May go back and put a clear coat on them. Not sure yet

Since this has gotten bumped back to the top.

How would this hold up to kids in the backseat?

My kids? not good... yours, maybe. It can be scratched, but the good part of it would be to just rip it off and redo it. Just normal everyday wear n tear it would be fine.

Well that being said I guess I would only have to redo one side ------ WEEKLY!

I'm in the process as of this moment so as I figure it out I'll try and share. So far I only took passenger side door pics but the line up is the same.

Electronics removed showing front door line ups of prongs with holes.

A view down the same hole.

Single star screw at the top and two at the bottom remove the front controls from wood grain cover.

Rear door line up (back half inside handle came off easier)

Down the hole.

Just pry the 4 tabs to remove plate.

Also using this as a good time to do some detailing, apparently somebody liked graham crackers in the rear passenger window switch. Amazed it still worked like a champ though

Dash, all the metal tabs holding mine in place were beastly strong, your going to have to get it some elbow grease, I recommend more so at the actual place the tabs are.

Driver side AC hole, vent comes out easily but the tab is on the plate side.

Plate and tab.

Removing duct from bezel. Same tabs top and bottom all vents.

Upper dash holes.

Tabs from upper dash, passenger side of AC vents. I laid this down so the part towards the bottom of the picture in reality is the top part that would be closer to the windhield.

Tabs from upper dash driver side of AC vents. Same angle as last.

Radio holes

Radio Bezel, it's on backwards to show location , 4 on each side and one on the bottom.

Only thing I would add is make sure it has dried a couple hours before handling I was impatient an did after 45 mins, it's solid but the ones I touched have a velvety fuzz and white discolor
