so, i know a lot of guys go with the pioneerAVIC-Z130BT unit, but i was wondering if there was another unit, that was a little cheaper that some people might have. I'm not really sure i need the nav feature. is there one without the nav that could save me a few bucks?

also, i was looking for what i needed for this instal and i came across the adapter i need $150 bucks?

If you like the Z130BT, then take a look at the X930BT. It's got a slightly smaller screen but everything else is almost identical and it'll cost you a few hundred less. I had the X920BT (last year's model) in my Toyota 4Runner and absolutely loved it. If I hadn't found a CPO Yukon Denali with Nav then that's the route I would have gone.

you gotta get one of those adapters if you want to keep the door chime, onstar, signal indicator noise, etc. I have the scosche one myself. there is also an adapter for the steering wheel controls too. and the antenna adapter. make sure you get the chrysler one. the metra antenna adapter that is in the catalog is wrong.

PMed.. you can get a harness cheeper but it won't retain on star and door chimes and the extras.. if you want to maintain the steering wheel controls your going to need a PAC Swips

I have the X930BT, and I LOVE it. I chose it over the Z130BT because I like having a volume knob. There has never been one second where I wished the screen were bigger, it is more than sufficient for everything. If you live in a larger city I do recommend getting the traffic tuner for whichever one you get, it has saved my ass a few times and its just cool to hear the GPS lady go "In 1.6 miles traffic is stop and go. Would you like to re-route?"

You need an adapter for the antenna, http://www.autosoundcentral.com/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=40gm10 and the one that is listed in metra.com for 2009 tahoe was wrong. The male/female connection was wrong for me. I had to go to best buy and buy the chrysler one to get the right male/female connection. If i still have both adapters, I'll get a pic to clarify, but it's where the adapter connects from the vehicle the prong has to be a certain size.
