readjusted my headlight beams pointed at my garage door to get them level. then i added a set of Blue/Gold Ion 880's to replace my weak factory fogs.

Don't guys use spacers in the rear to get that extra inch?

hmm, is that what you did, or is yours also a 3/4?

I'm really liking your build brother! upgrading the interior was one of my favorite mods...yours came out perfect. I'm still jealous of your new u bar headlights :chair: lol...those headlights look so sick! sucks that they don't make those for us EscaTahoe guys or whatever @HiHoeSilver calls me lol

hmm, is that what you did, or is yours also a 3/4?
Mine is also a 3/4, but I'm pretty sure I've read guys using spaces in the rear to get a little lower in the rear.

How do you go lower by adding spacers? That lifts it up in the rear, for leveling purposes.
Could've sworn that's what I read on here somewhere. I guess it acts in a similar way as when you use the rear shock relocation brackets. Kind of. Sorry if I gave wrong information, but I swear I read that on the forum. Am I wrong?

Shock relocation brackets lower the mounting point for the bottom of the shocks so that they're not a!ready half compressed due to lowering. Spacers are for the coil springs which in effect make the springs taller, used for lifting. To lower, you need shorter springs or some actually cut coils out of stockers which makes for a bad ride.

haha, thanks man! and yeah, i would think they would make aftermarket Tahoe stuff like that before they would a Denali. Guess i am lucky for once! and i Love this interior now. It's a pleasurable driver in and out.

I think Rocket is right. I need either a shorter spring or to heat or cut. and i dont want to do either. My buddy said when we puts it on his lift the short springs i already got almost pop out. When it comes to getting stance 'just right', it's amazing how much one inch can be to accomplish. :) maybe i will just stay with it having a little rake. I put my 3rd row seats back in and ratchet strapped my sub box to them hoping that extra weight would bring her down a little. Probably only an 1/8in

How does an axle flip work?

well on a truck you basically take the leaf springs and they go under the axle as opposed to above to give you more drop. but then you usually have to C-Notch the frame as well. i did that on my OBS. but we dont have the same situation on ours

Took her on a 6-hour round trip to Phoenix and back. She rode great.
I did notice my washer fluid isnt pumping through the system (any ideas?).

However, like halfway there i drove through this huge migration **** of yellow butterflies and they were ALL over my truck. I mean, they weren't just ON the grille, they went through the grill and covered my radiator. I couldn't bare to stare at it so i cleaned her all up today.

cruise control still not working. wasn't any of the fuses. hmm.
washer fluid pump not working. wasnt the nozzles or the fuses. hmm.

Probably clean the garage tomorrow and maybe remove the rear wiper.
I bought some plugs for the holes the other day at the hardware store.

all these little details i didnt care about until i started looking at everybody else's threads! :)
