Parking Brake Cables

Looking into replacing parking brake cables on my 08 yukon and I noticed it lists 1st design and 2nd design, 2 different lengths. How do I know which one I have without measuring? Or would 2nd design just be an improved/upgraded design? Thanks!

I believe the 1st design has the old school type parking brake release handle and the 2nd design is pedal push to release. not sure which year they changed I'm going to guess 2010/2011

I have not noticed them labeled this way but as Wes mentioned, there is a set of cables for the push to release (JNC) and for the one with the handle on the knee bolster. 3 different cables.
