Painting Rockers

I am getting paint peel on the lower half of my 06 Yukon XL. Thinking of painting flat black from rockers up to first body line. Truck is currently GMC Blue. Anyone else done this and have some pics so i can see how it looks? I am also looking at low profile fender flares as i have some rust on front passenger fender. Thanks!!

Like this ^ I would do gloss black. Not flat.

Fairly common practice but most use some kind of rubberized material. Plastidip, spray on/roll on bedliner, or for the best look but highest cost would be linex body armor. Essentially the same stuff they spray on truck beds to make near indestructible. They can also do various colors now instead of just black.

I was actually thinking of going the linex/rhino lining route due to some visible rocker rust. I'm going to take care of the rust first them get it quoted out to spray the lower edge probably up to the first body line if I can.

I am going to paint up to the first body line. Bought myself a HVLP gun, going to try it out myself...

I am thinking of going the Line-X route on my 04 Denali and going with White, just trying to determine how high to go. Yeah i know it will be harder to clean but its my camping and towing rig.
