Painted SLT Grill & Smoked LED Tails & Chrome Delete

Had the front grill painted black and went with some Spec D smoked LED tails. Chrome delete has also been done with debadging and black vinyl over windows and front fog light bezels.

I bought the grill off eBay for $270. It came painted black already and was a brand new GM part grill. There’s a vendor on there pumping out a ton of GMC grills.

Project to grasp an understanding of how it worked. I did my DIY during corona lockdown. Now that I’m working and answering the phone more
I don’t mind paying $100 to have it professionally done. The local vinyl place here is very affordable and does great work. I’m going to let them wrap the entire vehicle instead of worrying about getting the black paint looking good. I was going to spend $4,000 getting the swirl marks out and repairing some dents and then do a ceramic coating. The vinyl place told me $3,000 to wrap the entire vehicle so I’m going to do that and go matte white or matte khaki green for the exterior. In Lubbock the wind blows EVERYDAY and keeping a black vehicle clean is hopeless with all the farm fields in the air.
