So onto to the back side. After primer I could see a lot of sanding scratches so some spot putty to fill.

Don’t have enough paint for this section. So spun the truck around and back working on the fuel door area.Gave the inside a quick coat of colour, now sanding the whole area with 1000. Hopefully get paint on before the weekend ends.

I’ve come across a few spots where the paint was bubbling. Very small but after wet sanding they have lifted off. Not sure how to go about this. I had some bigger ones that were there before I started. I filled these with spot putty. But that means primer and paint. These little ones I may get away with a dab of primer and paint with a brush? Not sure.

Trying to get this done and all I’m doing is making more work.

Maybe touch up with a brush, a few coats then maybe wet sand once dried.

Contemplating the clear coat,In order to avoid a tape line I need to remove my SLT badge.
Is it just a press fit?

Yup. Should be able to get it off with fishing line. Also, I was able to remove the adhesive residue with rubbing alcohol when I removed my side moulding to replace the adhesive on my '07.
