Opinions on passenger door repaint

2003 GMC Yukon. Some cosmetic issues. Year or two ago, the paint on the upper part of my passenger door started chipping away. Now it's about the size of a small sub sandwich, for lack of a better comparison. Pretty positive I'll need to get the whole door repainted. I know it varies DRASTICALLY, but I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what I am going to have to pay for this. The last time I haphazardly asked a friend of mine whose family used to own a body shop, his paint guy said like 200-300 bucks. Which sounded pretty good to me. I've attached a picture of it. I need to get it done fairly soon so it doesn't start rusting. Thoughts? Thanks.

$200-$300 is good. Probably. $300-$500 normally if they are blending as well

I've seen quotes above $5-600 to completely strip and prep, repaint and reclear.
