There are many good oil filter brands, but I prefer the Fram XG series for my vehicles. The Fram XG10060 should fit your Tahoe? at a WalMart near you?

It's all personal preference. I personally stay as far away from FRAM as possible. These days I use Wix or AC Delco.

The Mobil is on the truck now and I think the oil pressure is a hair lower when compared to the other. Someone else posted about such too. Switching back to the K&N next time to compare.

That's subjective, there's nothing wrong with the original filter size. Like you, I prefer the larger filter and the ones referenced in my earlier post cross reference off the PF-63.

Fram XG10575 is the longer version (4.1") of the XG10060 (3.3") .
