Fuel Injector #12580681 Micro Filter Size

Hello all,

As part of the project, I cleaned fuel injectors on 2007 L92 GMC Yukon. I ordered micro filters that go inside the injectors according to info I find online. Most of the places show 6mm outside diameter of micro filter.

Then, I measured injector bore and it is 7mm. Also, micro filters are deep in the injectors. I haven't pulled out old micro filters yet. See the pictures:

Could it be that the bore is 7mm in upper part, then 6mm where the filter sits?

Just for the record, if anyone have the same question.

Micro filter and barrel of the injectors are 6mm in diameter.

The injector barrel is smaller (6mm) about 10-12 mm deeper where the micro filter seats.
