Question for guys with the oem wheels. Where are they made? China or USA? Had a guy claiming all OEM wheels are made in USA and is stamped USA on back. The couple OEM wheels I have seen all said China on back.

I believe they're currently made in USA, China and Mexico. Italy may be or used to be another country of manufacture for GM wheels, but it may be/have just been the Speedline series.

All the major manufacturers of auto parts including GM and including wheels outsource much of their manufacturing to several countries. If you start looking at your parts boxes from AC Delco for example you might be surprised at the number of countries they come from. Quality depends on the plant and it’s standards more than the country these days. It depends on if there are quality checks in place at the plant and they’re not cutting corners.

You posted this in the “Official OEM/ replica wheel thread” so what does that have to do with this? Other words...wrong section.

Thank you,
I painted it RR (Ruby Red) tri-coat Ford color. I know it's a Ford color but I really like that color on all these new Ford trucks running around.
Cheers,
No disagreements from me!
Curious what color your truck was before the ford ruby red paint job?!?!

Sold my newer LTZ 20s, had clear issues. Picked up some 22” factory reproductions and slapping on some 265/35/22s soon. Not perfect but good deal.

I like that wheel but the chrome center cap makes no sense on a satin wheel. What are they going on for such a short tire?

Yea that’s how they come from factory reps, 01’ Silverado lowered 4/6. Thought about a 285/35 but they are $140 more and may rub a bit.
