Hi Everyone,
My 09 Tahoe is having issues linking with my Code reader.

I have power at the connector. My Code reader powers up but keeps giving me a link error.

I have checked all the pins in the connector. They seem firm and making contact.

I want to get this fixed before I invest in a Tech2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a different code reader? Maybe hit up the auto parts store to "check your codes" and try theirs.

^^x2^^ Confirm that your code reader itself is not the issue, before digging deeper.

Link errors are usually seen when the ignition isn't switched to the "on" position after it connects. I hate to ask but, are you sure it's in the right position?
