Hello folks-
I am wondering if there is a general consensus with regard to the "NORMAL" Oil Pressure indication on the dash during Cold Start Idle and Hot Idle? My 2010 5.3 engine oil pressure at cold start idle is 38#. At hot idle it is 20#. Yours?
Thanks!

Thank you for the link. I see your name amongst those discussions. This forum has enlightened me about the evils that can arise from the AFM/DOD system, so I now check my oil level and pressure more often than every fill-up. Reading the tales of those who had their CEL come on and found the dipstick dry is not something I wish to replicate. Just because I made it past 100k miles with no oil loss between changes ever, doesn't mean that the AFM monster or a plugged oil galley filter won't rise up and kick me in the arse:whymewhyme:
