I cant figure it out. Only makes the noise while driving. Sounds like something is loose, drivers side front. Its not a thud type noise. Its more like a click click click. Happens when hitting bumps/pot holes. You can hear it rattle a few times and then goes away. I've looked for bad bushings and checked the tierod ends which feels correct. Recently I noticed some noise when making a long left turn around 30-35MPH. I thought "is it the wheel bearing/hub?" But this thing makes noise when going straight also. I though about a brake pad that is chattering all of a sudden Could it be the ISS??
PLEASE ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT. MY WIFE AND TWINS ARE RETURNING FROM EUROPE AND I HAVE TO CORRECT THIS BEFORE I CAN LET THEM RIDE IN THE TAHOE.

Wouldn't mind putting in some hawk pads. Thats pretty much what it sounds like.

So it ended up being a piece of the star adjuster floating around in the rear brake assembly/parking brake drum!

^ wow, glad you didn't start throwing parts/money at it like some folks do without knowing exactly what the problem is.

I just bolted her back together. Hopefully I wont need the half of the gear for adjustment anytime soon.
