Odd issue. Put truck on lift to replace rear brake backing plates. Finish 2 days later, go to start truck, battery dead. Hum, must have left something on. Charge battery, which is rwalitivly new, truck turns over, tries to start but dies. I can hear the fuel pump when I first turn key. I notice the radio is on without the key in ignition but the interior lights not on with doors open. Check for draw on battery, goes from .007 to 9 to 11 to .002 amps. Not exact #s but you get the idea.
I notice the interior lights are on, radio off. Reconnect negative cable, truck starts. Hum, wtf. Test drive truck, hacv not working properly. Try resting hacv by disconnecting battery, wait, reconnect negative cable. No start. Same condition as before.
Try battery draw test again, now .0007 or so. Hum, interior light on, radio off. Reonect negative cable, truck starts. I had taken the hacv fuse out prior to starting truck second time. Let truck run 10 mins or so, replace fuse, hacv working properly.
I'm afraid to do any testing as all is working as it should. I'll see if it starts in the morning.
