2014 Yukon Denali XL, 6.2 122K miles.

Went out the door this morning, cranks but no start. Not even a rumble...

thoughts?

Crank sensor? Mass air flow?

Have a scanner, but it's at work (25 miles, longiss walk)

First guess from my what I can see sitting in my chair is fuel supply issue.

I would check your fuel pressure. What happens if you put the key in and turn it one click forward and wait for 5-10 seconds so fuel pressure can build and then try and start?

Check the fuse for the fuel pump.

Any work done on it lately?

I see the maple leaf. Has it been really cold in your area lately? I'm asking because, perhaps, you have water in your gas or filter that may be freezing and inhibiting proper fuel flow and pressure. Maybe, a can or two of dry gas may help resolve your issue.

Says he is in Ohio so it must be freakin' cold there. Good strong spin for the engine? I assume so since you did not mention. Get a fuel pressure reading like Wade and Joseph suggest. You may still have ignition problems but the pressure reading is a start and easy to see.

Been busy,

after poking around, it's the pump.

will run if you give some starter fluid, so we have spark and timing.

towed it to work (indoor shop, lift..) for tank removal and new pump.

New Delco pump installed today, at work, lift and proper tools. Not bad at all, 46 mins from on the lift to running. 212.35 for the pump on Amazon. Cheaper ones where around, but I went OEM for piece of mind.

Smart move. Cheap parts yield cheap results.
