No day running lights, and a relay that gets super hot.

Hello everyone, I was looking for some thoughts on an electrical issue with the daytime running lights.

So the other day I was on the road and noticed in the reflection of another vehicle that my running lights were not on. A little while later I hear a popping and crackling sound coming from down by my feet. I reached down and took a look at that relay board that hangs below the dash about where the parking break is. The lower left relay was making all that noise and felt so hot I could barely touch it. Pulled off and found an auto parts store and picked up a new relay and swapped it out. buzzing and crackle sound solved and it doesn't get hot, but the right headlight is out and the daytime running lights won't function.

I was wondering if this is at all related or has anyone else experienced this.

I've got some pics of the relay and location but can't upload at this exact moment.

Thanks
