Hey Folks..
I had a remote starter installed on my 04 Tahoe last week. Today, I ran a scan on my OBE tool and noticed it was throwing two new codes.
B1440 Power mode master input circuits mismatch
B2961 Key in ignition circuit malfunction
OBE scanner (BlueDriver) lists remote starter among the many possible causes. Wondering if this is really a problem with the wiring that needs to be addressed, or if the truck’s computer simply recognizes the changes to the ignition wiring required by the remote starter install (and there’s not really an issue).
Anybody ever seen something similar or know the answer?
