Did some searching, but didn't come up the answer I was looking for...
Just swapped the 20" Chrome wheels on my 07 Tahoe for a set of stock 17s that I bought off of Craigslist. They have the TPMS sensors with the metal stems already installed...which should work on my 07 from what I have read.
I tried going through the program procedure through the DIC, but nothing changed. Let 15 psi out of the drivers front, the drivers front turn light stays illuminated and no honks. Ended up cancelling the programming.

Now onto my questions:
Do these need to be programmed into the PCM first?
If so, is there a tool to do this myself?
If I program these sensors in, will I have to do the same thing again in the spring when I switch back?
Thanks in advance.
