Hey guys, not new here but back after I recently picked up an 02 Yukon Denali.

PO swapped the 6.0 with a built LS1 and a built 4l60e. Mechanically speaking it runs real nice....knock on wood. Buuuuuut....cosmetically it's pretty ugly right now. Needs new paint, interior is rough....but we all need something to do with our free time.

I'm trying to knock out easy stuff first...headlights, tint, clean the interior.

I have shocks and 2" drop springs on the way. Getting it retuned soon as well. Then to tackle the faded clear coat.

She's yours, and now you can do what you want to get her to the point where you are fully happy with her, until the money runs out.

Good luck!

Definitely! I've always wanted a blacked out nbs denali. Something about that body style never gets old.

Welcome from Miami Beach Tyler!

Your 02 Denali looks a lot better then any 02 Denali I see in Miami-Dade and Broward County. Seems it has been maintained extremely well.

Thanks! It'll be a slow process but that's the fun part

Welcome from Oregon. If you want any ideas, there’s a link to my 325 page build thread for my 02 Denali at the bottom of this post. I call it The Beast. Read up!

Like @Joseph Garcia says, it's yours and you can continue to make it better to suit YOU. Welcome back from Oregon. I will do a few things to my new to me 2005 Z71 but it is my personal taste. Have ridden Harley's for years and never bought a stock one without going thru it to make it mine. No fun unless you do.

Got it back from paint today! I'm in love! Haha

Just gotta fix the faded trim pieces on the bumper and running boards.

That looks great! I painted those trim pieces on my 02 Denali with Krylon Fusion 3 years ago and they still look great.
