I’m guessing the odds of getting the High Country deluxe I ordered last week as a 2021 or before September is going to be pretty low....

No clue, let me know what happens. My dealer had 2 allocations for Tahoe’s and could order basic LS, LT, or z71 with no luxury packages.

Mine has allocation but has no idea if it will or will not get build. I appreciated the honesty. If it end up being a 2022 no big deal I guess.

Wisconsin and no from what I gather it just means the dealer successfully entered the order. It need to be accepted by GM yet. I believe that 2000.

Ok, yea mine got denied and I went to town calling on every Tahoe I could find. Was out of leads then got a call from a dealer with one in transit that was exactly what we wanted but summit white instead of pearl. What are you looking for? There’s a white HC with deluxe package close by me in michigan but has 7200 miles. I’m sure you would get gms plus a demo discount.

I’m looking for Red, Black, or maybe silver Deluxe with black wheels. (Trying to match my boat) Thanks for the lead though I appreciate it! If I have to wait it’s not a big deal I don’t hate my High County Silverado well except for the transmission.

Cherry red high country with chrome 22’s in Chicago with 7500 miles, no gms and no demo rebate lol, I checked on that one, it’s really sharp but no way would I pay that

Get a Purchase Agreement when you place the order and submit your deposit. It locks them into that price
This sucks. I’m in the same boat. 2WD Yukon Denali - premium package. Order placed 5 weeks ago with agreement of an OTD price via email and signed agreed upon deposit (they have not taken yet) of $2K. No special paint color either, plain white.

when I asked for a purchase agreement, I was told they could not do a purchase agreement until they had a VIN for the vehicle.

if it becomes a 22, as long as they still honor the pricing (supplier discount) - then that’s fine. But doubtful.

I've talked to 5 dealers today and they won't even take an order. While I was on the phone with one dealer he checked the build schedule and GM was only building 195 Yukons for the week and none with the max trailering package.

I can’t even get a purchase agreement on a vehicle that’s not even built yet. They say they need the VIN number first. Ugh!

My Tahoe is still at 1100. Pretty much every High country package is constrained. Makes you wonder how they are bringing 5 plants back online when they can’t build their most profitable vehicle.

That's the dealer your working with. They can make a purchase agreement before its built. We had a Yukon ordered with a dealer in Wyoming, I had a purchase agreement, build sheet, and signed paperwork for deposit before they even had allocation. Dealer never received allocation after several weeks, so we cancelled the order. When purchasing ANYTHING, there is always something they can give you that locks you into an agreed sale.
