Hi everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. Standard story, I have been searching for a tow vehicle for about two years. I was researching Expeditions, Sequoia's, Tahoe's etc, of all years and body styles. I kept coming back to the '00-'06 GM SUV's. I narrowed the search down to wanting an LQ4 for reliability and power, transmission temp gauge and transmission cooler already installed. This left me with the Yukon Denali.

After much research, including this forum, I found a local, 2005 Denali with 112k miles in great shape for it's age. It was a little more then I wanted to spend for a 17 year old vehicle, but i couldn't pass it up after spending so much time looking.

Welcome from another gmt800 Yukon Denali owner. Post some pics of the ride when you get a chance! I love towing with my LQ4 6.0. Steady as a rock when towing! You won’t be disappointed!

Thanks guys! Great to hear about your towing experience! I'm signing in from NC. I plan to spend the next few months slowly getting all the fluid changed and looking things over. So far I'm very pleased. The truck just drives so effortlessly.
