New member with '07 Tahoe

Whats up guys, I own a blue 07 Tahoe LT with 22" Matte Black LTZ OEM rims and just finished plasti-dipping the front grille and emblems. Any recommendations on lowering kits?

Are you going to black out or remove the "Tahoe" on the doors?

Tony (NorcalSS) has a bunch of lowering kits and is a vendor here. How low are you looking to go?

Yea im going to try and upload a more recent picture. I blacked out all the emblems and logos around the truck including the front grille



-looking to lower it 2-3 inches. Don't want the Slammed look on it.

i would have kept it chome unless you plan on removing the rest of it on the door handles, mirrors, emblems, etc. at least its just plasti dip though

@Matt .... The first pic was about 10 months ago... I removed the chrome from the handles it is now the original blue as the rest of the truck. I bought the truck from a buddy and removed all the chrome accents he applied to it. The grille, Tahoe logos and everything else was plasti-dipped black. The rims are actual matte black though. Nothing chrome left on the truck.

@goodinblack ... I was hesitant to black it out with the truck being blue at first but I'm liking how its coming along.

Should have an updated full body pic soon. Gotta wash it and take new pics.

I didn't like it at first when I got mine but that blue is definitely growing on me. I Blacked out my grill too, lowered it, did exhaust work, and added an intake, then put it on 24s

@ Kevin - reminds me of my truck lol... yea i have magna flow exhaust on it. what lowering kit did you use and does it rub when you turn at all? I want to lower mines and did you plasti-dip the grille or actual paint? Do you notice any difference with the intake with fuel milelage?


@Keith I would've donated them but they were a pain to take off and broke in the process. Really on there tight with the 3M behind it. I may have the chrome billet grille for the front. No sure tho have to check.
