New Member in Houston

Hello all, just bought a 2004 z71 Tahoe and got a few things done to it. You guys have been a ton of help with some of the issues I've run into. Hope I can repay with whatever knowledge I can offer!

So far I've leveled with rear 1" spacers, installed monotube shocks, KC 57 Series lights in the Ranch Hand Fog Grilles, Airaid MIT, Flowmaster 70 Series Muffler, Waiting for Blackbear Tune, and knocked out a list of maintenance stuff. I have plenty of plans for the future, should be a fun project.

Thanks guys. Believe it or not, the heavy brush guard smooths the ride out with the keys cranked up. It's around 2" up in the front and still has a soft feel. I'm thinking the timbren jounce stops for plowing might be a good addition.

Nice. I didn't crank for my guard just slapped it on and has been fine for a good while. Same with my old ram

It dropped the front end about 1.00"-1.50". Basically the keys are cranked to about a 3.00" lift setting, and it's only actually up 2.00". I'm fine with that, I'll buy a real lift if I want it over 2.00", which is the long term plan. 3.00" total in front with a good ride would be ideal.

Welcome from the east side of town. How hard were the spacers to do? I did my keys a few weeks ago, wanting to reduce some of the lean I've got now.

Rear spacers are easy, 20 minutes by myself. Disconnect the shocks and sway bar, jack the truck up under the diff, set jackstands under frame in front of wheels, remove wheels, lower jack until frame rests on stands and springs fall out. Just keep an eye on the diff vent hose.
