okay yer having a misfire in cylinder and youve done some troubleshooting and now youve arrived at replacing the heads?
okay if you dont mind lets take a few steps back here before you start dishing out more money on a new set of heads to fix a misfiring cylinder
what have you checked or replaced so far im going to assume plugs and wires were the first thing also what year is your vehicle and what motor do you have

You should replace the heads with another set of stockers if you are going to replace them at all.

Sry for the delay..

I have a 1999 gmc yukon with a 5.7liter 350

"cheap Stuff" would be spark plugs and wires.

Have you checked your distributor cap?

Also injector could be sticking. How many miles

Also see your other thread that you have a ticking noise. You said you did new wires, makes sure they are all on all the way. Also could check valve lash

Could just pull your cap off and check terminals and center post for wear in the mean time. Mine went out at 140,000 miles. Center post was worn so much the plastic was beginning to wear down.
