Well since you have the older body style truck I'd recommend you call your truck a 99 so you get the right parts. Does your truck look like this?

i put a bell tech 4/4 on mine a few months ago..with smaller rubber also.it does ride rougher but the look is worth it to me! mine is a 4x4. got used to it after a few weeks.

Pretty sure his is 2wd so it has coils up front. You'll want a belltech kit, here are some parts #s

2" pro front springs - 23452
2" spindles - 2500
Rear Shackle and Spring Hanger - 6636

This will net you a 4/4 drop, or you can go with a 1" drop spring up front. Rear is a ***** to get lower than 5" or so without cutting, they look pretty good dropped tho I think this is a 3/3 drop iirc

You can run anything from Toxic, Belltech, McGaughys, DJM, Doestch drop shocks and on!
I don't know much abot Belltech shocks but I heard they're too soft, Max can confirm

Toxics are fine. If you buy coils get some belltech pros, they'll ride way nicer. It all depends on how you drop it and with which components.

Dude your truck is NOT TORSION BAR! Consider it a 99 otherwise you'll get incorrect parts. Totally different suspensions between the 95-00 OBS and the 00-06 NBS.

this is the only other kit close to 3/5 drop. its a 2/4...

think this kit would look sick? its only an inch diffrence from a 3/5.

but idk...what do you guys think?

I think you can go 5 or 6", I'd start with some 2" spindles and the 4" rear spring hanger/shackle kit. You can always hook some 1" or 2" front springs later but I think you'll be chill with just a 2/4 on that truck...body kit makes em look low as hell.

if after the spindles are installed you're not happy with it being low enough you can THEN swap out the stock springs for a 1 or 2" drop spring...
